Help » IntelliScreen Features

The View Layout screen allows you to edit your IntelliScreen's content.

Customize which content to display:
You can enable and disable specific content items by pressing on the bottom toolbar. IE, if you don't want weather to display, simply press the weather icon until it is dimmed.

TIP: You can reset to the default layout by pressing the reset icon on the bottom right of the layout toolbar.

The # badge on the content icon represents which IntelliScreen page the content will display on. If the icon is dimmed, the content will not be displayed. If the icon shows "New1" or "New2", the content area will only be displayed if new messages are available (see below)

TIP: You can switch between IntelliScreen page 1 and page 2 by double tapping on the time/date area.

Show items only If New
If you only want to show your mail or SMS when there are new messages, you can press the mail or SMS icon until they show "New1" or "New2" (for showing only if new on IntelliScreen 1 or IntelliScreen 2)

Only If New Layout Behind Other Content:
When setting items to only if New, you can place the content box "behind" other items. IE, the default layout is setup so if a new SMS message appears, the Weather box will be replaced with the SMS content box.

Only If New Layout in Date/Time area:
You may also place the Only If New content box in the time/date area. This will cause the content box to be positioned in the first available position. The first available location is searched via the following process:

1) Unused space
2) Largest unlocked content area
-If the content area can fit two content boxes, the original content box is split into 2. Otherwise, replaces content box.
3) If all content area is locked, replaces first content box.
- If the content area can fit two content boxes, the original content box is split into 2. Otherwise, replaces content box.

TIP: You can lock/unlock the position of a content area by double tapping on the content area.

Resizing Content Area
You can resize content areas by pinching the content area:
1) Pinching in a vertical fashion will shrink the height of the area
2) Pinching in a diagonal fashion will shrink the entire area to proportion.
